Information For Guests
It is recommended that you visit The Secret Garden by car since the guesthouse is nestled in a winding lane, and is not on a bus route. We are unable to serve evening meals, but are more than willing to recommend some lovely old country pubs and restaurants that serve delicious, great value meals. We will pick you up from Keynsham Railway Station free of charge if you come by train and there are reliable taxi services available. You will find that we are a welcome refuge if you are coming to visit elderly relatives or other family in the area.

Its prime location in the Avon Valley means The Secret Garden is just a short 20-minute drive from Bath and Bristol, two of the country’s busiest cities. We are within reach of locations such as the Mendip Hills, Chew Valley, Cheddar Gorge, and the Quantocks Hills, loved by poets like Wordsworth, Coleridge, and Southey. Less than two hours’ drive away you will find the magnificent moors and coombs of Brendon Hills and Exmoor, and the historic Cotswolds with Castle Combe with other lovely honey coloured stone villages not too far away.
